Description
100G QSFP28 DAC Direct Attach Copper cable manufactured by ANC International Co., Limited is compliant with 100G Ethernet (100GBASE-CR4) specifications. So sometimes it is called 100GBASE-CR4 QSFP Cable. It contains four high-speed copper pairs, each operating at data rates of up to 25GbE. The QSFP28 DAC cable assembly is suitable for power-efficient connectivity for short distance interconnects, such as data center, networking, and high-performance computing application.
The 100G QSFP28 cables are compliant with InfiniBand Architecture, SFF-8636 specifications and provide connectivity between devices using QSFP28 ports. The QSFP28 cable is an assembly of 4 full-duplex lanes, where each lane is capable of transmitting data at rates up to 25Gb/s per direction, providing an aggregated rate of 100Gb/s. 100G QSFP28 Direct Attach Cables are available with 30 AWG, 28 AWG, 26 AWG and 24 AWG cables . Standard lengths are 0.5m, 1m, 2m, 3m, 5m, and 7m.
QSFP28 DAC cable is available in two main types, QSFP28 direct attach cable and QSFP28 breakout copper cable. 100G QSFP28 DACs delivers aggregate data bandwidth up to 100 Gbps (4x 25 Gbps) with passive copper assemblies.
